Learning with the spaced learning system
When you start this learning mode for the first time in a flash card set, all cards are in compartment 1.
If you have 75% of the total cards in compartment 2, compartment 1 and compartment 2 will be queried.
If 80% of all cards are in compartment 3, compartment 1, 2 and 3 are queried. If 85% of the cards are in compartment 4, compartment 1, 2, 3 and 4 are queried.
If 90% of all cards are in compartment 5, all cards in all trays are queried until all cards are in tray 5.
If you have selected JA for shuffle cards, the cards will be shuffled again after each pass. If you selected NO, the cards will be shuffled in the order you entered them.
With "Write answer" you can choose whether you want to say the answer orally for yourself, or whether you want to write the answer down. This function is best for learning vocabulary and words.
An example:
5 compartments: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. At the beginning all cards are in compartment 1. Of course you can always add new cards, these are then automatically always placed in compartment 1.
The cards in compartment 1 are repeated until 75% of the cards are in compartment 2. If 75% of the cards are in compartment 2, the cards from compartment 1 and compartment 2 are automatically queried.
If you have answered a card from compartment 2 correctly, it will automatically be placed in compartment 3. However, if you have answered a card from compartment 2 incorrectly, it will be placed back in compartment 1. An incorrectly answered question from drawer 1 remains in drawer 1.
If 80% of the cards are in compartment 3, you advance one compartment , and all compartment from 1 to 3 are queried.
Again, if you misanswered a question from compartment 2 or 3, it will be placed back in tray 1. If the answer is correct, the question will always go one subject further. So correctly answered question from compartment 2 comes in compartment 3 and a correctly answered question from compartment 3 comes in compartment 4.
This card in compartment 4 will only be queried if you are 85% of the cards in compartment 4. If you have 90% of the cards in compartment 5, all questions will be asked.
The principle is always the same: the card with the answer you know goes to the next compartment. The card with the answer that you didn't know goes back to the very first compartment.
